Those who know my husband and I, know that our two dogs are our children. We adopted them in 2015/2016 and we've been blessed with their love ever since. Our effort to best care for them has led us to better care for ourselves in many ways. In 2018, they inspired my holistic journey to heal from the chronic health issues I have dealt with since 2010. It is still an active work in progress. These hurdles have gifted me a much greater appreciation and respect for life. Life is what I love to capture on camera: plants, insects, wind, water, the expressions on animals faces and the depth of their eyes.

Rewilding is a relatively new term often referring to large-scale conservation efforts to enhance biodiversity and restore ecosystems to their natural state. I also like to think of rewilding on a smaller scale...the little things we can all do to positively impact nature and to make effort to "rewild" ourselves, feeling more connected with Earth.
